One of the few sativas out there named for a celebrity, this weed is appropriately peppery and giggle-inducing but not too cheap. Durably, lovably campy as a TV personality, singer and supermodel, Carmen Electra is best known for appearing in a long list of schlocky movies like Lil’ Pimp, 2-Headed Shark Attack, and Max Havoc: Curse of the Dragon — the sheer mediocre tonnage of which has won her an imposing number of Worst Supporting Actress Razzie nominations.

Seldom out of the news for one reason or other, Carmen was born on 4/20 and so, appropriately, the dank named in her honor goes straight to the head, imparting a lively and attractive sheen around everything in the visual field. One of the stonier sativas I’ve sampled in a while, a CE buzz is pleasingly mentally energetic but heavily disorienting in the sense that the mind calculates fantastically intricate plans that fall amusingly apart at the body’s unwillingness to stir from a single rooted spot.
