The cast of “Modern Family” is set to bid farewell this spring. 
Prepare to say farewell to the The Dunphys. ABC announced on Wednesday that its award-winning sitcom “Modern Family” will end its 11-season run this spring with the series finale set for Wednesday, April 8.
“Modern Family,” which began its run with five consecutive Emmy Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series (tying the record set by “Frasier”) returns from the holiday break to resume its final season tonight at 9 p.m.
“American Housewife” will move into the “Modern Family” time slot.
ABC also announced a series finale date for “How to Get Away With Murder.” The crime drama will resume its final season on April 2 and will wrap things up on Thursday, May 14.
